Harpya / Erevos Drone Killer System
HARPYA is a “fire and forget" type semi-autonomous system designed to destroy hostile UAVs within a certain volume of air space.
The system comprises of two elements:
[1] the unmanned, high speed aircraft- missile HARPYA and
[2] the ground based EREVOS station.
The EREVOS is a portable field deployable detector, operational even squad and above tactical level, equipped with an array of sensors which assist an operator to locate an incoming threat target.
The HARPYA is a semi-autonomous high-speed ground-to-air unmanned aircraft missile which uses advanced AI and image processing technology to home-in to target UAV and destroy it by means of either proximity sensor activated explosion or by direct impact and explosion.

Capability
User is able to:
-
Fly aircraft via its radio control
-
Monitor aircraft’s course through its FPV (First-Person View) camera
-
Search for the target through the camera the camera located on the gimbal
-
Drive gimbal by moving his head
OPERATION
Target Approach Steps
In order a target to be reached by aircraft the following steps should be followed:
-
User is taking off the aircraft using its radio control and FPV camera.
-
Aircraft maintains a steady pace and direction.
-
User wearing goggles tries to locate target in his field of view. Via goggles user may see camera’s image. The camera is located on a gimbal at the aircraft. Gimbal is driven by user’s head moves.
-
User identifies the target and press the target identification button (TIB).
